Take command of your time and reduce stress by crafting your own coffee drinks at home. Swap your morning routine of traffic, lines, and misspelled names for the relaxing calm of your own space and being in control of your energy and attention, not to mention your beverage.
As if saving time and stress heweren't enough of a benefit, you'll also have the ability of create great coffee drinks for a fraction of the cost.
Start with the coffee. Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil. Turn off the heat and count slowly to ten. Add 1/3 cup of ground coffee and stir. Wait two minutes and stir again. After an additional three minutes, the grounds should have settled to the bottom while you pour flavorful, aromatic coffee.
This technique yields about 7 ounces of coffee, enough for a 2-3 mochas, lattes, or cappuccinos.
By taking command of your coffee you can establish a calm and confident beginning to your day.
PS: Leftover coffee can be refrigerated for a perfect addition to a smoothie, or frozen in ice cube trays for a flavorful 'mocha milkshake'!
