Be SMART About Goals

I've heard it said that the busiest week at the gym is the first week of January and the slowest week is the first week of February. By then, the fun of New Year's resolutions have faded and, without seeing quick results, many give up.

Why is it so hard to stay committed to self-improvement?

We need to be SMART; just knowing you have a goal isn't enough.

SMART is an easy acronym that stands for SPECIFIC, MEASURABLE, ATTAINABLE, RELEVANT, and TIME-BOUND.

Once we break our goal into these components, we have something more valuable; a PLAN.

Over the course of the next several posts, we'll unpack each of these steps so you can stop dreaming about your goals and actually start achieving them.

'Till Next Time,
